"Cause doves make you look like a badass"
The June GQ was waiting for me when I got back from Japan last week, and its a good one. Channing Tatum makes another cover appearance (I think he gets one a year at the moment), and thats fine with me as I love me some Chan Tate! Theres also articles on 'How to Stock the Perfect Home Bar' (love me some cocktails too), and the now annual wedding style guide. Throw in some self help advice from Fiddy and you've got a loaded issue. Good work GQ!

More Funny People.
Its time for GQ's comedy issue this month, with Louis C.K on the cover. At first glance there's not an awful lot that grabs me, although I do like there '30 Under $50' feature which showcases a lot of high-street product that's perfect for budget ballers like me. Also nice to see John Oliver representing for the UK. I go on holiday in a couple of weeks so I'm gonna save it for reading on the plane.

Some Dude...
The April GQ arrived yesterday featuring their now annual style bible GQ100 list. Its a pretty good list with some interesting ideas and products. Unfortunately I got the cover with some dude from Game of Thrones on, which I don't watch so I have no idea who he is. Fortunately some of my favourites are featured as well, Adam Scott from Parks and Rec, JJ Redick from the Clippers, and I always have time for Skateboard P.

King James
I've been looking forward to the March GQ arriving since All Star weekend when LeBron hosted a GQ party to promote it (This is his third cover since I started reading US GQ, which is more than anyone). It looks pretty good with a 24 page feature on NBA style, Chris Hardwick from Nerdist with some tips on being a workaholic, and an article about peoples whos actual job is to find cute animal videos. Check it out at places that sell magazines off of America.

Drizzy Drake
The new GQ arrived at the weekend with Drake on the cover. Its one of the lighter issues with not a whole lot of content and I'm not especially grabbed by many of the articles. The feature on 50 summer clothing choices under $50 is pretty good and the guide to throwing summer parties almost makes me want to be sociable, but mainly as an excuse to eat barbecue food and drink cocktails.

Funny People...
The June issue of GQ arrived this week (US edition) with James Franco on the cover. Its the annual comedy issue so its a little light on style but big on laughs. I particularly liked the guide to dressing for weddings as I have a wedding to attend in two weeks (although I already have my outfit picked out and had referred back to a wedding guide from the June 2011 issue that was very similar). British comedy is well represented by Ricky Gervais, Chris O'Dowd & John Oliver which is good to see. Pick it up now at places that stock import magazines.

Iron Man, Iron Man, does whatever an....
The May issue of GQ arrived today (US edition) with Mr Robert Downey Jr on the cover. Featuring articles on Daft Punk and whiskey this is a pretty damn good issue for me. Pick it up now at places that stock import magazines.
