Funny People...
The June issue of GQ arrived this week (US edition) with James Franco on the cover. Its the annual comedy issue so its a little light on style but big on laughs. I particularly liked the guide to dressing for weddings as I have a wedding to attend in two weeks (although I already have my outfit picked out and had referred back to a wedding guide from the June 2011 issue that was very similar). British comedy is well represented by Ricky Gervais, Chris O'Dowd & John Oliver which is good to see. Pick it up now at places that stock import magazines.

Revenge of the Nerd
For a while now I've been thinking my style inspiration for work this Summer would be Nolan Ross (Gabrielle Mann) from Revenge (if you're not watching, it's awesome so check it out). This involves some extreme preppy styling, especially blazers, polos and a lot of colour. One of the highlights of the show is seeing what amazing preppy combo Nolan's wearing each episode. And while I'm not sure I can pull off wearing a polo underneath a shirt (and people around the office might think I'm a douche if I constantly have my collar popped), I thought I could definitely step up my polo game. So I stopped by Banana Republic this week and picked up a couple of the Luxury Touch polos. They're an awesome slim fit, and they do feel amazing. I also grabbed a pink linen shirt which I think would definitely get the Nolan seal of approval.

Grey Vetiver
I ran out of my favourite Tom Ford fragrance this week, so made a quick trip to Selfridges on my lunch break. To quote the Selfridges website...
"Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver is a fragrance that encapsulates the essence of his menswear philosophy. This masculine fragrance is a masterful new rendition of the cool and intriguing possibilities of vetiver, an ingredient that Ford says has always been a hallmark of a classic, tailored, and unabashedly masculine man. To construct Grey Vetiver's stunning character, this exclusive extract is used in far greater quantity than Vetiver is traditionally used in many scents. The exclusive vetiver signature is brilliantly showcased by amber wood and oakmoss creating a fragrance that is powerfully recognisable."

Grey Suede for Summer
I picked these up from Banana Republic probably two months ago, but I've only been able to really wear them the last week or so, as before that I was almost guaranteed to get rained on. A great suede shoe with a proper sole, not the foam that a lot of high street stores are using at them moment (I'm look at you Aldo). Click below for more pictures.
